My experiences in life have led me to realize my role in the lives of others – the very role that drives me every single day to keep doing what I do – and that’s to CONNECT PEOPLE and ORGANIZATIONS to each other.
In 2008, I was introduced to the finance industry, getting my start as an insurance agent. For a few years, I stuck to it despite what felt like a spasm and trance pattern characterized by different speed bumps in my career. But even then, I knew deep inside me that I was capable of doing more.
When I finally saw the opportunity to pursue that desire, I took the leap of faith and established Bridges-PH in 2017, a platform that assists micro-, small- and medium-sized enterprise (MSME) owners deliver strategic solutions which not only grow the business but also protect the workforce from unforeseen risks.
Why help them?
Over 99% of local businesses in the Philippines are MSMEs. They employ about 65% of the country’s workforce. Many of them don’t always have access to programs that help them optimize and grow. So if I want to fulfill my role and make an impact in my own way, they are people I have to help.
By serving them, I can reach more Filipinos that I possibly can - alone! My extensive experience and expertise in financial planning puts me in a good position to guide these MSMEs to the programs that will give their hardworking staff a chance to live their ideal lives.
This cause is so important to me because I want to give professionals in the country the chance to empower themselves, the same way I was able to come out for the better in my personal struggles. It’s a process, I know, but if you put enough time and effort into improving yourself everyday, whatever you dream of today, you can attain in the future.
